Get your energy back. Reclaim your drive. Then make the decisions, handle the pressure and deliver the goals that matter.
Tier One Pro is elite performance coaching for people at the top of their game, and for those on the way there. The October cohort runs from 7 October to 31 December: ten people. Twelve live, challenge-led sessions for accomplished people with important year-end goals. The first two sessions are free. Experience the work before deciding to pay.
Every application is read by Martin. 16 years coaching founders, CEOs and senior professionals. Former human rights barrister. Startup CEO. Wiley author.
Twelve sessions: Recovery and recharge · Decisions under pressure · Curveballs and chaos · Focus · Confidence · Switching off · Making it stick
Three minutes. Martin on who this is for and what it does.
By October, most people at this level are running on reserves. The summer is gone, the quarter that decides the year has arrived, and the tank is low — with as much still to deliver as there was in January.
That’s why Tier One Pro starts with your energy. Not managed — restored. Advanced recovery, continual recharge, and the drive you had at the start of the year, rebuilt on a system that holds through December. Then, on that foundation, the performance: the decisions, the high-stakes moments, the objective delivered.
And one thing you keep: a personal performance system, in your own words, tested against a live quarter. Everyone else starts January from scratch. You start it already operating at the level you finished December — with the energy to sustain it.
Every session takes one challenge that everyone at this level meets. The room describes how it actually shows up for them. Martin teaches: the strategies, the protocols, the options. The solutions are shaped by what the room said, and each member leaves with the one they’ll use that week. The next session opens with what happened.
Session topics — not a confirmed running order.
Sleep and weekends no longer restore you. Rebuild energy and drive through deeper recovery and continual recharge — for the final stretch, not another push towards burnout.
The call, the resignation, the number that lands mid-afternoon. Regain composure, adapt fast, and find the next useful move while everyone else is still reacting.
Competing projects and other people’s urgency, until strategic thinking stops. Decide what gets protected, what gets killed, and where your effort goes.
You get the hard decisions after everyone else has filtered out the easy ones. Protect your judgment for the consequential ones, and make them when it’s at its best.
The private sense you’ll be found out, which worsens with every promotion. Grounded confidence without the exhausting over-preparation.
Wired but exhausted. At home but not present. The mind still in the building at midnight. Getting the off-switch back.
The quarter won’t give you eight hours. Full capability on the sleep you actually get — and recovering the sleep you can.
Interrupted every few minutes, never in deep work, ending the day drained with nothing that moved the objective. Getting your focus back.
The more you’ve built, the more there is to lose — and the more cautious you quietly become. Assess risk without fear of loss making the decision for you.
When the situation changes, don’t cling to a plan that no longer fits. Stay clear on the objective, read what is actually happening, and adjust quickly without losing momentum. Objective fixed. Route flexible.
When pressure keeps you scanning for danger, you can become more reactive, more controlling and less able to see opportunity. Learn to reset your state, widen your perspective and think clearly again.
Build strategies and protocols into the days you actually have. Use practical cues, rehearsal and review so useful methods survive a demanding week.
Integration has its own session — and runs through the programme. The methods need to work in your life.
You begin with a private session with Martin: what you are going for by 31 December, what stands in the way, and the first things to build. Then a 90-minute session every week in a room of ten — the challenge, the room’s experience of it, Martin’s teaching, and the response you’ll deploy before the next session. Between sessions, direct access to Martin for the moments that won’t wait.
Sensitive matters stay in your private sessions. Nobody is asked to disclose anything they don’t want the room to hear, and the live discussion is never recorded.
The methods come from five sources. Martin’s job is choosing what fits you.
Nothing is prescribed by default. The methods are selected for the person and the objective.
Martin has coached people at this level one-to-one for sixteen years.
Martin Soorjoo has spent thirty-five years in three fields where underperformance has a price.
Fifteen years as a leading human rights lawyer, on cases that changed the law and legal practice in the United Kingdom and across Europe. Three years as CEO of a private-equity-backed startup, working days, nights and weekends alongside a board of senior figures from Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Royal Bank of Scotland and hedge funds — many with global responsibility. Wiley approached him to write Here’s the Pitch, a book for founders raising serious capital under extreme pressure.
For sixteen years Martin has coached founders, chief executives, finance professionals, senior lawyers — and special forces operators from the world’s most elite units. His work in the special forces community resulted in him being able to interview numerous operators from the Navy SEALs and British Special Forces on his podcast, Outperform the Storm.
He is an accredited HeartMath practitioner and a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
